Katie Shaffer

Katie Shaffer is an Educational Diagnostician who received her Masters of Education degree from Texas Women’s University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Baylor University. She has over 20 years of experience working with and diagnosing children with learning differences. Katie has expertise in the evaluation of various learning, attention, emotional and behavioral disorders. She provides guidance to parents and their children as they navigate new learning and emotional diagnoses or life challenges. Katie lives in Plano and has two teenage children. In addition to attending her children’s activities, Katie enjoys spending time with her dog Lucy Taco, running marathons, and getting lost in a good book. Katie is also a certified Pilates Instructor.
