Report Cards Are Coming

Your child’s first report card or a recent parent-teacher conference may suggest a need for further discussion. If your child is struggling academically, POD wants to support their educational success. We have a diagnostic team available to meet with you and your child to discuss their educational challenges related to reading, writing, math as well as inattention or hyperactivity. Time for Your Child’s Well Visit

Has your child had their yearly check up? If not, call and schedule now. Summer is a great time for school age children to have a well visit. If you have a camp or school form, bring it with you. We can get it completed and you’ll have one less thing to do before the next school year starts.

Countdown to Thanksgiving Break!

Open your mouth and say “Ahhhh!” The doctor will check your mouth with a tongue depressor and will shine a little light into your mouth. It won’t hurt at all!

The doctor will check your ears by looking in them with an otoscope. It might tickle a little.

While you are in your room, many other children are here to see their doctors as well. They might be getting their hearts checked too!

Your doctor will then come in to meet you. If you colored a picture you should show it to them! Your doctor will check your heart with a stethoscope and listen to it beat.
